Energy services provider Expro has expanded its over two-decade-long collaboration with a “global operator” through a new contract extension for subsea completion and intervention services in the Gulf of America (U.S. Gulf of Mexico).
This latest contract not only signifies the continuity of a partnership that has lasted over two decades but also highlights the critical role Expro plays within the offshore industry. The agreement, valued at up to $25 million, is set to last for a maximum of five years, a commitment reflecting both parties’ confidence in the collaborative solutions they’ve developed together.
At the heart of this contract extension is Expro’s innovative Solus, a shear and seal valve designed explicitly for subsea operations. This remarkable technology adds a significant layer of safety and reliability, particularly vital in the challenging conditions often encountered in offshore environments. The Solus valve is equipped to enhance well integrity, a crucial factor for the safety and success of subsea activities.
In addition to the Solus deployment, Expro will be providing subsea landing string services, enabling an efficient and safe setup for well interventions.
