Benetti Oasis 40M Motor Yacht Featuring Customized “Wellness Cabin” Contigo Has Been Sold

The 40.8-metre Benetti Oasis motor yacht Contigo (formerly known as Orenda) has officially changed hands, marking an exciting development in the luxury yacht market. Brandon Kummer from Kitson Yachts represented the seller, while Cornelius Kistler of breezeYachting.swiss introduced the buyer.

Delivered in June 2024, Contigo is the 16th vessel in Benetti’s stunning Oasis series. Crafted from Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), this yacht showcases a design from RWD, complemented by naval architecture from Benetti and Pierluigi Ausonio PLANA. The collaboration of such esteemed designers and architects ensures that the yacht stands out in both aesthetics and functionality.

A unique feature of Contigo is its strong emphasis on wellness. Unlike its predecessors, this model has transformed the traditional gym area into a dedicated “wellness cabin.” This innovative space includes a large steam shower within the owner’s suite, designed for versatility as it can be converted into a luxurious Turkish bath, enhancing the onboard spa experience.

Accommodating up to 14 guests, Contigo features six luxurious cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite. This exclusive suite comes with a private saloon, dedicated office space, dressing room, and a his-and-her en suite equipped with the aforementioned steam shower and tub. Additionally, there are two VIP cabins and two versatile twin cabins, each offering an extra Pullman berth. For enhanced adaptability, a flexible-use space can be converted into a sixth cabin. Crew quarters can accommodate up to nine, ensuring excellent service onboard.

The yacht’s interiors, spanning a light 386 gross tons, have been thoughtfully designed by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, featuring a clean, spa-like aesthetic characterized by elegant white furnishings and polished teak floorboards. A standout element is the backlit Onyx marble bar unit in the main saloon, perfectly positioned amidst two curvaceous low-profile sofas, creating a stylish gathering space.

The sky lounge offers a more casual atmosphere, equipped with an L-shaped sofa, dining table, entertainment centre, and galley. Large glass doors lead to an outdoor area fitted with lounge chairs, ideal for basking in the sun or enjoying al fresco dining in a serene setting.

One of the remarkable features of Contigo is its terraced main deck, designed with a transformer platform and dip pool surrounded by fixed sunpads, sun loungers, and stylish sofa seating. The sundeck is equally impressive, boasting a rejuvenating jacuzzi, additional sunpads, a sit-up bar, and a dining table that can accommodate up to 10 guests. For those who enjoy entertaining, the customized “party light” system and DJ console elevate the deck’s ambiance, making it a hotspot for entertainment. Additional sunpads can also be found scattered across the foredeck, alongside a U-shaped fitted sofa for relaxation.

Key specs include an 8.5-metre beam and a two-metre draft

On the technical front, Contigo stands out with its Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system, ensuring compliance with IMO Tier III exhaust gas emissions regulations. This yacht meets stringent standards for commercial use, making it available on the charter market for discerning guests looking for luxury on the waves.

Powering the vessel are twin MAN engines, enabling a maximum speed of 17 knots, with a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at a steady speed of 14.5 knots, providing excellent performance for long voyages.

Ultimately, Contigo was last listed at an enticing €23,900,000, highlighting not only its exquisite design and features but also its appeal in the luxury yacht market, making it a notable acquisition for the new owner.
