Explore the Mangusta Oceano 44 Hull 7: Sunday Superyacht Showcase

Recently, the Overmarine Group celebrated the debut of the newest addition to the Mangusta line, affectionately known as the “baby” of the Mangusta GranSport range. Meanwhile, the attention remains unwavering on their larger megayachts, particularly the Mangusta Oceano 44 series, which marked a significant milestone with the launch of its seventh hull this spring.

To understand its allure, it’s essential to look back: the Mangusta Oceano 44 series was introduced five years ago, in partnership with renowned designer Alberto Mancini. The vision was clear—to offer an incredibly open and light-filled environment for those on board. A standout feature is the full-height glass walls of the upper deck. Opening on three sides, this design transforms the skylounge into a seamless indoor-outdoor haven for relaxation and entertainment. In total, there are 1,055 square feet (98 square meters) of customizable space, ideal for families and friends to enjoy together.

This spring, on May 25, the new owners celebrated the christening of their vessel, named Lulus, marking a journey that began two and a half years prior when they signed the contract. Having spent years chartering various motoryachts, they approached this project with a list of desired features and amenities, ensuring that their vision was accurately captured in this 146-foot (44-meter) vessel.

Among the appealing aspects of the Mangusta Oceano 44 is its spacious accommodation for up to 10 guests, with the master stateroom conveniently located on the main deck. This suite boasts a large skylight that not only brings in natural light but also enhances the overall ambience. The design ethos extends to glass bulkheads that bridge the main and upper decks, preserving the stunning views and fostering a connection with the surroundings—most notably in the formal dining area, which also features large glass walls that open up.

An additional highlight is the infinity pool located on the foredeck, aptly dubbed “the island.” This area features two sunpads that are surrounded by the refreshing pool water, connected by a teak walkway. The experience doesn’t stop there; a second infinity pool awaits on the sundeck, which itself spans an impressive 1,120 square feet (104 square meters). This combination of outdoor spaces provides multiple options for sunbathing and socializing.

For many megayacht owners, the beach club space is the social hub. The Mangusta Oceano 44 features a three-sided beach club, likely to become a focal point for the owners and their guests. As the delivery approaches in just a few weeks, charter clients will also find an opportunity to experience the luxury and lifestyle aboard Lulus.

As far as technical specifications are concerned, the Mangusta Oceano 44 is certainly impressive. Below are some key details:
