HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE), the intermediary holding company for HD Hyundai’s shipbuilding business, has signed a definitive agreement with Siemens Digital Industries Software for the implementation of a next-generation marine platform designed to digitally connect the entire shipbuilding process.

The envisioned platform aims to interlink every aspect of shipbuilding—from vessel design and production to supply chain management, quality control, and maintenance. By employing an integrated 3D-model-based data environment enhanced by AI and digital technologies, the platform promises to deliver consistent information across all phases of the shipbuilding process.
One of the standout features of this digital platform is its capability to relay changes in designs and real-time production updates directly to the floors of shipyards and throughout the supply chain.
