The Launch of the Custom Line Navetta 35: A New Era in Luxury Yachting
The month of May marked a significant milestone in the yachting world with the unveiling of hull number one from the Custom Line Navetta 35 yacht series at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard. This awe-inspiring 113-footer (34.5 meters) embodies both artisanal craftsmanship and innovative design, drawing together a collaborative effort from artisans, designers, and technicians who contributed to its creation.
A Moment of Celebration
The launch event was a momentous occasion, celebrated with the presence of craftspeople from various facets of the project. This included not just the shipyard’s dedicated team and management, but also subcontractors who played crucial roles in the yacht’s development. The owner’s representative and captain were also in attendance, collectively marking this notable moment in the superyacht industry.

Design Philosophy: Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living
The Custom Line Navetta 35 yacht is designed to enhance leisurely cruising for owners seeking their first megayacht of over 100 feet. Its three decks are thoughtfully arranged to create expansive leisure areas where the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces blur beautifully. Under the artistic direction of Filippo Salvetti, the yacht is enveloped by full-height glass on every deck, enabling stunning, uninterrupted views of the surrounding seascape.
A novel feature is the absence of external stairways linking the main aft deck to the upper deck, enhancing the sense of flow and openness. With more than 3,229 square feet (300 square meters) of combined interior and alfresco space, owners and guests can seamlessly blend their parties and relaxation areas by opening large sliding doors, designing a space that breathes with life and light.
Interior Aesthetics: Customization Meets Luxury
The Navetta 35 yacht is a semi-custom superyacht, catering to a refined clientele looking for bespoke luxury. The interior design, led by ACPV Architects, offers a variety of mood packages, allowing owners the flexibility to select color themes while ensuring that every piece of furniture is custom-made.
For the inaugural Navetta 35, the owner opted for the “Light Mood” palette, which features a serene mix of ivories, beiges, and caramels to foster a tranquil ambiance. Elements such as soft, creamy Pietra di Vicenza stone and pale wood flooring create a warm yet sophisticated setting. Enhancing this, sand-colored leather furnishings add to the warm, inviting feel throughout the yacht, ensuring that each room exudes elegance while embracing natural light.

Innovative Furniture Design
A noteworthy aspect of the interior design is how the furnishings are crafted to embody organic shapes and the illusion of floating. By setting each freestanding piece off the floor, an airy feel is cultivated throughout the spaces aboard the yacht. Not only do these designs enhance the aesthetic appeal, but they also encourage a natural interplay of space and light, making every area feel expansive and inviting.
Continuing the Legacy
While the Custom Line team prepares for the official delivery of the Navetta 35, they are simultaneously engaged in developing three additional projects at various stages of design and construction. This commitment to innovation and craftsmanship only underscores Custom Line’s reputation as a leading name in the luxury yachting sector.
