The 60-metre Amels motor yacht Moonstone has recently been sold, marking a significant moment in the world of luxury yachting. Cornelius Kistler, CEO of breeze.Yachting.swiss, represented the seller, while Damon Smallwood of Superyacht Sales and Charter acted on behalf of the buyer. The transaction further cements the yacht’s reputation as a standout in the superyacht arena.

Delivered in 2021 from the renowned Dutch shipyard Amels, Moonstone is the second unit of the Limited Edition Amels 200 series, following her sistership, the 60-metre Stella M, also delivered in that same year. “Not a detail was spared in creating the second of the Amels 200,” according to her brokers. The yacht boasts a robust construction of steel and aluminum, designed by the acclaimed Tim Heywood, with naval architecture crafted by Damen Yachting and an elegant interior designed by Luxury Projects.

    Moonstone was last asking $69,900,000

Accommodation on board is designed to lavishly host a party of up to 12 guests across six opulent cabins. The master suite also boasts a luxurious bathroom adorned with exquisite Mongolian marble. For additional luxury, a generous VIP suite is located on the bridge deck, while the lower deck houses four guest cabins. Moreover, the yacht can accommodate a crew of 14, ensuring every guest experience is tailored to perfection.

Moonstone is replete with a range of amenities tailored for relaxation and leisure. The sun deck serves as a prime social hub, featuring a Jacuzzi, massage room, and a well-equipped gym, catering to fitness enthusiasts and relaxation seekers alike. The bridge deck not only hosts the impressive VIP suite but also offers outdoor dining and an elegant sky lounge, perfect for entertaining guests in style.

As guests move to the main deck, they’ll be welcomed by an inviting main saloon, designed in a warm color palette of reds, greys, and creams. This area features a comfortable circular seating arrangement and a formal dining table positioned towards the aft, ideal for enjoying meals with loved ones. The lower deck elevates the experience even further with a beach club that features a sauna, steam room, and lounge area, seamlessly opening to the swim platform for easy access to the water.

Technologically advanced and environmentally conscious, Moonstone boasts a hybrid power system that utilizes batteries in place of traditional generators. This innovation not only enhances energy efficiency but also minimizes noise pollution. Furthermore, the yacht is equipped with a WASSP multi-beam sonar system, capable of producing high-resolution bathymetric scanning, allowing for a live 3D view of the ocean floor—a novel feature for discerning yacht owners.
