40m Sunseeker 131 Yacht Acacia has been sold

The 40.1-Metre Sunseeker 131 Motor Yacht Acacia: A Stunning Sale

The luxurious world of superyachts has witnessed a significant transaction with the sale of the 40.1-metre Acacia, a magnificent Sunseeker 131 motor yacht. Represented by Josh Gulbranson and Trevor Carroll of Fraser for the seller, and Michael Selter of IYC introducing the buyer, this sale follows a substantial price reduction of $1,050,000 in February, which brought the total reductions to $2,600,000.

    A Glimpse into Acacia

Delivered in 2011, Acacia showcases exceptional craftsmanship from the British yard Sunseeker, built using robust Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). Since her delivery, she’s been meticulously maintained, featuring consistent servicing and upgrades. Notably, a hull repaint in a stunning “majestic blue” was completed in 2019, with additional enhancements made in 2020 and 2023. Such care ensures that Acacia remains not only visually appealing but also structurally sound.

    Luxurious Accommodations

Onboard Acacia, guests are treated to luxurious accommodations for up to 12 individuals, distributed across five elegantly designed cabins. The standout feature is a full-beam master suite located on the main deck, complete with a spacious shower room that offers a private retreat for relaxation. On the lower deck, guests can enjoy four additional cabins, including two VIP suites and two twin cabins. The twin cabins are cleverly designed to convert into doubles as needed, accommodating families or groups with flexibility. To enhance comfort, both twins are equipped with Pullman berths, perfect for extra guests.

    Stylish Interiors

The interior of Acacia is a blend of sophistication and comfort. A formal dining area situated forward of the main salon can comfortably seat 12 guests, providing an ideal setting for intimate dinners or celebratory meals. The walnut wenge wood flooring underfoot adds a touch of elegance and warmth, running throughout the entire deck, unifying the interior spaces.

    Entertainment Spaces

Up on the upper deck, another lounge area invites relaxation, adorned with plush sofas and a stylish bar. This space is perfect for unwinding after a day on the water, offering breathtaking views and a serene ambiance. For those looking to entertain, the flybridge is an entertainer’s paradise. Equipped with a Jacuzzi, sunpads, and a sit-up bar, it also boasts two folding dining tables, ideal for al fresco dining. To ensure comfort during the heat of the day, water misters are installed, creating a cool oasis on hot summer afternoons.

    Impressive Performance

As striking as her appearance is, Acacia does not compromise on performance. The yacht is powered by twin 12-cylinder MTU 4000 engines, allowing her to achieve a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 13.7 knots. This impressive performance makes her a thrilling vessel to navigate the stunning Caribbean waters, where adventure and relaxation intertwine seamlessly.

    Market Insights

With her last known asking price at $8,900,000, Acacia demonstrates the high-end market trends for luxury yachts. This recent sale highlights not just the allure of the leisure boating lifestyle but also the strategic pricing strategies that can lead to successful transactions in this competitive market.

As the sun sets on the sale of Acacia, her new owners are poised to enjoy all the adventures and luxuries that this stunning Sunseeker 131 has to offer, creating memories that will last a lifetime on the open waters.
